A global summit to "tighten and control" financial markets. What go could wrong?
Sarkozy:
"Together we need to rebuild a capitalism that is more respectful to man, more respectful to the planet, more respectful to future generations and be finished with a capitalism obsessed by the frantic search for short-term profit," Sarkozy said.
That is to say, socialism will replace capitalism. There is a willingness, perhaps even an eagerness in the Western world to abandon the heritage of the Age of Enlightenment.
Once this "reform" of capitalism combines with global regulations based on the man-made climate change fabrication, all the statues of Karl Marx will be brought out of storage. We are on the brink of seeing an end of the nation-state, the end of individual rights, possibly even an end of reason. This isn't old-style socialism-in-one-nation staring us in the face. This is global. Once entered into, not easy to get out. The effect on our daily lives will be somewhere between the worst of the EU bureaucratic tyranny and Brave New World. We'll have a complete world-wide economic breakdown within 20 years ushering in a more brutal tyranny.
I am entirely pessimistic about defending against this globalist coup. America's foundations have been seriously chipped away since the end of WWII. We are effete, as painful as it is to say so. Our social and political institutions have been weakened by the infection of quasi-socialism. The very real prospect of a President Obama in January with the imperial Nancy Pelosi ruling over a veto-proof House will have us on our knees. There will be blitzkrieg legislation and a wholesale dismantling of the great nation founded in 1776. These people move fast and take no prisoners. Will all be lost? No, not all, even they can't accomplish everything all at once, but we'll be dangling over the edge of the abyss.
I'm stunned. I can't believe I may be a witness to what will be the most cataclysmic moment in our history since the Revolution. If America is suffocated, freedom will be lost everywhere.
